Fecc Congress 2015
“Towards a Sustainable Future”
The FECC Congress 2015 brought together over 200 leaders from across the chemical distribution industry. This years programme featured a broad range of speeches that stimulated an interesting exploration of issues affecting the chemical distribution industry.
The association continued last years discussion on 'whether size matters in distribution' which again was extremely well received with panel experts presenting both for and against the premise that family owned distributors might struggle to survive in an industry where larger, multinational distributors are becoming increasingly dominant. This generated alot of debate from the floor and the success of this format is something that the FECC need to try and replicate at future Congresses.
There were also excellent sessions on governance, sustainability and Responsible Care as well as parallel sessions on new developing markets (MEA region) or compliance and communication in the supply chain.
The Fecc Annual Congress remains one of the most important dates in the European chemical industry’s calendar. The next Congress is taking place in Istanbul on June 6-8, 2016. www.fecc.org ...More
