Barentz appoint a new VP for their Chemical Division

Barentz have announced the appointment of a new Vice President of the company's Chemical Division, Manfred Schade. Manfred, has more than 20 years experience in the international specialty chemicals business and will manage and lead the Barentz Chemical Division from the 1st March 2012.

The Barentz Chemical division is looking to further strengthen its position over the next few years. The Chemical division's ambition is to become a true pan-European distribution company in the specialty chemical industry. Manfred will be responsible to lead this growth and to develop the Barentz's chemical business accordingly.

Later this year he will also assume responsibility for Barentz Ravago Chemical Specialist SA, the newly formed jv between Ravago and Barentz bringing together Barentz's chemical division with Ravago's chemical distribution business in the coatings, polymers and construction industries.
