Bodo Möller Kemi Danmark Aps is to acquire the distribution of Huntsman Advanced Materials products in Denmark from Nortec-Cannon A/S, based in Humlebaek. The internationally active specialty chemical company already sells formulated systems, adhesives, composite and mould-making materials as well as resins and casting systems for electronic applications produced by Huntsman in Europe and Africa.

“The business acquisition is another important step for our expansion in Denmark as well as for the cooperation with Huntsman,” said Peter Holm, managing director of the Danish branch based in Stenløse.

The move strengthens Bodo Möller partnership with Huntsman Advanced Materials - a relationship spanning more than 30 years. In Jan 2014, Bodo Möller concluded a purchase agreement with Vink Kunststoffe GmbH to take over its adhesive division which supplied products on behalf Huntsman Advanced Materials.

The Bodo Möller Chemie Group is also a leading trading partner for well-known European companies like DOW Automotive Systems, HB Fuller and BASF. Besides adhesives and adhesive systems the product portfolio of the company also includes additives for plastics, coatings, rubber products, textiles, lubricants and other specialty chemicals.
