UK-based distributor, Surfachem Ltd opens new University-based technical laboratory
Surfachem, a leading specialty chemical distributor to the life sciences segment, has opened a new technical laboratory within the 3M Buckley Innovation Centre at The University of Huddersfield, Yorkshire, UK. The laboratory has been opened as part of Surfachem's continuing growth and in response to both customers' and suppliers' requirements for increased technical support.

The laboratory will become a focal point for the development of new formulations and applications incorporating the latest ingredients and technologies. Surfachem will also use the facility as a key technical interface for existing and new customers and suppliers, offering them formulation assistance and troubleshooting. The laboratory is close to the company's existing distribution centre in Elland, Yorkshire, UK.
