Specialty chemicals distributor Bodo Möller Chemie GmbH has concluded a purchase agreement with Vink Kunststoffe GmbH, located in Emmerich am Rhein, to take over its adhesive division which supplies products on behalf Huntsman Advanced Materials.

The new acquisition will allow the Bodo Möller Chemie GmbH to expand its position in the German adhesive market and strengthen its leadership role in the sale and distribution of Huntsman products which includes formulated systems, adhesives, composites and materials for electronics applications. Earlier this year, Huntsman Advanced Materials and Bodo Möller Chemie Group annouced they were expanding their cooperation in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Denmark, deepening their thirty year plus partnership in Europe and Africa. In addition Bodo Bodo Möller have also just entered a new partnership with EMS-Chemie AG for the distribution of high quality hotmelts in Poland.

The Bodo Möller Chemie Group is a leading trading partner for well-known European companies like DOW Automotive Systems, Henkel, BASF and Huntsman Advanced Materials. The product portfolio of the company includes adhesives and adhesive systems, additives for plastics, coatings, rubber products, textiles, lubricants and other specialty chemicals.
